It appears as if frozen clouds of lacy snow
light up the dark forest,
But, no, it is huge Babybreath bouquets
adorning the bare black
woods of winter —
A wedding march to announce the marriage of
sun and rain will
bring forth the
blossoms of rebirth
and bright life.
Gail (May’11) says, “How is it that I have time to write a poem?  My husband has been in the hospital, initially for right knee surgery, but went into ICU with complications from his COPD and heart fibrillation episodes. Thank God, he is stabilized from the pneumonia and coming home today. I’ve been making trips to the hospital twice daily. That’s when I noticed the beautiful dogwood.”
