June’s door

June Poucher(May ‘14) shares her comment about the self-discovery game “When Is A Door Not A Door” from Kokology 2 by Tadahiko Nagao and Isamu Saito.

June says, “I read over the little imagination story and the authors’ question, ‘Why is the door ajar?’ I thought a moment and turned the page over and I looked at the three choices. I identified strongly with number three, ‘The owner is inside, sweeping out the entranceway.’”

Authors suggest the following about a person who make a number three choice.

“You aren’t the type to get carried away in crisis situations. On the contrary, you’re so relaxed that you may not notice a crisis is occurring at all. The mistakes you make are caused more by oversight than bad intentions, but the end results for you (and the people around you) are the same.”

June Poucher has her own interpretation.  “To me my choice means the owner is welcoming and open to new friendships. Maybe he/she is new to the neighborhood. Being only partially open means the owner is selective and discerning in his/her friendships.”
