JULIA GLASS

This morning, I’ve been reading a book by Julia Glass. I really enjoy reading her, she’s one of my favorite authors these days.

Glass is an American novelist. Her first book, Three Junes, is my favorite so far. It won the National Book Awardfor fiction in 2002. After it, came a second novel in the same Greenwich Village setting, The Whole World Over. Third was, I See You Everywhere. Glass writes about family relationships with a lot of insight.

I am presently in the process of reading her fourth book, The Dark Sacred Night.

If you’ve not read her books, you might want to check her out!

Betsy (July ‘14) adds, “I am in the Alps with a playwright friend. Years ago, our family used to rent a chalet here. It’s where I learned to snow ski. Fond memories.”

Betsy’s view: The Matterhorn is the peak on the right.
