I just finished a wonderful book for my September Book Club. It is called, All the Light You Cannot See and is by Anthony Doerr. It is very long: five hundred-some pages.

However, it is beautifully written. The story takes place in France and Germany over the time period which includes WWII.

Our last book in June was a non-fiction about eye doctors who go into remote places in the Himalayas where cataracts are prevalent. It was called Second Suns and was penned by David Oliver Relin. It was also very long, but it was a great book, too!

Louise (June ‘15) adds, “I had to buy a new Nook (electronic reader) as my original one was worn out!”
