Recently, I watched an older movie about the well-known Indian Geronimo. Made years back, it featured Gene Hackman and Matt Dillon. Dillon played a cavalry officer named Britton Davis and Hackman played infamous General George S. Crook. At the end of the movie, Dillon’s character had to stand up for what was right. He was later resigned. The government had made a false promise to Geronimo to get him to surrender. Standing up for what’s right is going to happen at some point in life. I’ve had it in my walk with the Lord. I’ve had to make tough decisions, too. They disappointed my family and friends. But I knew what was right.
